&lt;p&gt;I have a final question, the nrf52 DK can be powered either by the USB, battery or an external source starting from voltage of 1.7 V. If I want to power it using the external source, which pins on the DK should be connected to allow the use of the external source?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I can&amp;#39;t see that you are publishing your temperature data anywhere over BLE, only over UART with prink&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I would recommend looking into exercise 2 in our &lt;a href="https://academy.nordicsemi.com/topic/blefund-lesson-2-exercise-2/"&gt;Bluetooh Low Energy Fundamentals course&amp;nbsp;&lt;/a&gt;. The exercise covers publishing a button press counter, this can easily be adapted to reading a temperature. In general I would recommend the course if you are new to BLE or our course covering &lt;a href="https://academy.nordicsemi.com/courses/nrf-connect-sdk-fundamentals/"&gt;NCS &lt;/a&gt;if you are new to nRF Connect SDK&lt;/p&gt;
