 I would like to program nRF52832 on the board nRF52-DK. That app requires a softdevice to be present in order to function &lt;em&gt;at all&lt;/em&gt;. But a &lt;em&gt;chip&lt;/em&gt; erase will always erase the flash area that softdevice sits in.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Unless your hex was merged with softdevice, it won&amp;#39;t be able to work.
