 I assume that since it uses soft device s140 and it is basically the same with nRF52840 it should work.

&lt;p&gt;But I don&amp;#39;t expect this project would get close to that, so no, I don&amp;#39;t see any reason why this should not work on the nRF52833.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately not all examples are by default setup for all variants of the nRF52-series. So in this case the easiest may be to open an project that support both nRF52840 (pca10056) and nRF52833 (pca10100), and compare the two to find how you need to modify the project you have for the nRF52840-&amp;gt;nrf52833. It&amp;#39;s possible to simply open the project files in a text editor to also copy and paste one to the other, like shown here:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/65136/migration-from-nrf52840-to-nrf52833"&gt;Migration from nRF52840 to nRF52833&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The&amp;nbsp;\examples\ble_central\ble_app_hrs_c support both variants and can be used as reference.&lt;/p&gt;
