Hi,

Maybe it's not directly your problem but I am using nrf52DK (nrf52832) and latest version of nRF Connect for VS Code v2023.4.179 has some bug. After when I downgrade version this extention my development board worked today.

Can you try to make sure the DK is plugged in and powered on (so that LED5 is on/blinking), and measure the voltage on VDD? What is it?

Ans: LED5 Blinking

Voltage: 3.0V

Does the DK work if you plug it into another computer?

Ans: Sorry, Only One computer is Available..

What if you are trying to use nRF Command line tools directly from a cmd window?

Thanks, After running above command my VS code also able to detect nRF52840 SoC and I am able to flash board using both J-Link EDU and nRF52840-DK.

Ok, let us focus on the DK, since it what our developers are testing with.

What if you are trying to use nRF Command line tools directly from a cmd window?

What does it say in your case?

Hi Edvin

We saw several reports of bugs like these after the 2023.04.148 release. Did you try to update to 2023.04.179 which was released only a couple of days ago? I believe this update was aimed towards fixing this bug.

Ans: Updated nRF Connect for VS Code v2023.4.179, but issue still remain same.

Even though it says "UNKNOWN", are you able to program the DK? And how about the custom board?

Ans: No, I am not able to program both board (nRF52840-DK and Custom Board)

Due to this problem, I am not able to flash(program) or reset the board or recover the board.

Ans: I have also tried a lower version, but still issue not resolved.

nRF Connect for VS Code: v2023.2.56

Are you sure that the custom board is powered properly?

Ans: Custom board powered up properly and working. I am also using nRF52840-DK(PCA10056) board but the issue remains the same.

Are you sure that the custom board is powered properly? Please note that the debugger itself doesn't power the board. It only checks whether power is provided.
