Thanks Stefan for your support. I can only use the BLE to set up a piconet, which one support until 7 slaves.

As Stefan mentioned, ANT has several options to support a high node count network of up to thousands of nodes; auto shared channels, continuous scanning mode, the scan and forward reference design using background scanning channel, etc. The latest version of the SoftDevice can support up to 15 separate channels, and each shared channel can address up to 65534 devices.

S310 is BLE+ANT softdevice. The BLE side is a perhipheral that can maintain 1 link. The ANT side can maintain at least 8 links, see the thisisant.com site. We also offer a pure ANT S210 softdevice, i.e. with no BLE.

So also S130.. and S310? S310 can maintanin more than 8 concurrent links?

The S120 is a central only softdevice that can maintain 8 concurrent links to 8 peripherals.

Hi Rodrigo

The S130 can be configured as peripheral and central at the same time. It can maintain 3 central links and 1 peripheral link.

For S310, it is BLE peripheral + ANT, so it can maintain one BLE peripheral link to a central.

See the Softdevice specification for further information

Update 30.10.2015 The above information is correct for S130 v1.0.0. However, S130 v2.0.0 release notes say: "A range of 0 to 8 connections can be specified, one of which may be of the peripheral role type."
