Hmmm... It is there somewhere. But I'm not sure where exactly.

But if the goal is just to do DFU of your own target then you don't need to modify this project. Just let nrfutil handle it. The final "-f" option in the command line you quoted should take care of this automatically.

1: yes

2: the "-f" option for nrfutil does that for you. Nordic calls it connectivity firmware. See nrfutil dfu ble --help

3: (edited to correct:) this erases the controller.

4: Technically it should be possible to use the PC's own buetooth hardware, but I don't think Nordic provides any ready-made solution for that
