&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span dir="ltr"&gt;Initial programming of the IC must be done through the debug interface as there is no pre-programmed bootloader on the device.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;If you want to add&amp;nbsp;UART DFU capabilities, you need to create an application which supports this, and flash that program(.hex) to the nrf5340 with a programmer/debugger, e.g Jlink.&lt;/p&gt;
