Yes, I'm using a softdevice. And its also programed on the board. I'm sure because when I add retarget.c file again to my project everything will work.

Are you using a Softdevice and have you remembered to program it to your board?

No, because the breakpoint wont hit anywhere. I can set a breakpoint on the first initialization of my program and it will not hit. And there is another thing. Usually when I debugg and click on the run symbole(in the left corner), the run symbole wont be clickable until the program is running. But when I remove the retarget.c file and enter the debugg mode and then click on run, the symbole will always stay clickable. And this is the reason, why I assume that the program wont run, when I remove retarget.c file.

What sort of debugging? Are you getting hardfaults?

Well, I can build the project without any error or warnings. But the program will not run anymore. With not run, I mean the DK wont be visible anymore and the outputs wont be controled trough the switch. And debugging is also not possible.

More details please? "Doesn't work" doesn't tell us much. My application works fine without retarget.c and with RTT printf.

SEGGER_RTT_printf(0, "variable value: %d\n", variable);

where the first parameter specifies that the output should be printed to Terminal 0 in the J-Link RTT Viewer, second parameter is the string to print, and the value of "variable" is inserted for "%d"

Hi. Have a look at this tutorial: Debugging with Real Time Terminal. It shows you how to use SEGGER_RTT_printf() to print strings and various different parameters.
