I found spi_slave.c and softdevice_handle.c and ble_advdata.c file couldn't be found when I first open the project by KEIL.So I searched these file in nRF51_SDK_8.1.0_b6ed55f folder .I found these file had several version in the SDK folder , I add the path of one of the version so that I could complied .

All these files are present in the master branch version of the projects, but shouldn't show up in the sdk-8-support version. Keil tends to hog all project files, blocking git from overwriting them on branch checkout, could this be it? Try closing Keil and reverting to HEAD of sdk-8-support. Sorry for the inconvenience, please report back with your results.

When I first opened the BLE_Gateway project with Keil,it promted that the mesh_srv.c,serial_handler.c,serial_queue.c ,spi_slave.c and ble_advdata.c could't be found.So I searched these file in the nRF51_SDK_8.1.0_b6ed55f folder.But I can't find the mesh_srv.c and serial_queue.c file.May this is the reason?

Hi, I'm running the same setup as you do, but I'm unable to replicate your issue. If you're building with Keil, make sure that the target configuration isn't "nRF51822 xxAA serial", as it would wait for a host-side application to initialize it over SPI. Both "nRF51822 xxAA" and "nRF51822 xxAA buttons" should be fine though. If you're running GCC, the same applies, but you have to mark the targets in the makefile instead. Make sure that the "USE_RBC_MESH_SERIAL" is set to "no".

I flashed S110 v8.0.0 and rbc_gatt_BOARD_PCA10031.hex from devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../ rbc_mesh #XXXX appeared .But I flashed S110 v8.0.0 and rbc_mesh_BLE_Gateway.hex complied from the nRF51-ble-bcast-mesh-sdk-8-support\nRF51\examples\BLE_Gateway it disappeared.

From the readme:

The master branch is currently parked, and lacks some critical features compared to the latest version of the mesh framework. Currently, the sdk-8-support branch contains the latest updates, but you can always check the "Releases" tab above to keep track of all the latest versions.

So you should use this branch.

From its readme:

Works with SoftDevice S110 v8.x and S130 v1.0 with Timeslot API, and the nRF51 SDK8.1.

Unzip in \examples. Flash S110 v8.0.0. I tested nRF51-ble-bcast-mesh-sdk-8-support\nRF51\examples\BLE_Gateway. It appears in Master Control Panel.
