The testing of the display&#39;s electrical characteristic is apparently done with VDD in the range between 2.7V to 4.5V. The datasheet also says that minimum Input High Voltage is 0.7*VDD. If you run your nRF51 at 3.5V the maximum supply voltage for the display is</p> <blockquote> <p>3.5V/0.7 = 5V</p> </blockquote> <p>However, I also found <a href="http://www.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/pdf/127934/ETC1/JHD162A.html">this</a> datasheet with completely different values and I don&#39;t know what sheet to trust.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
