 And we made the design/PCB without Decoupling on DEC5. (i know... that was a mistake)

&lt;p&gt;On the older revision the 820pF capacitor is needed on DEC5 to lower spurious emissions added to the TX spectrum. There could be some effect on the clock/supply spurs as well. It will mostly affect the radio, but we can&amp;#39;t recommend not using this 820pF capacitor for designs using the rev. 1 chip even though it will most likely be fine. If you want to go through with this thorough testing should be done to make sure the application works as intended on older revisions as well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If possible I&amp;#39;d recommend using only rev. 2 chips in your designs, even though I understand this could be hard to accommodate.&lt;/p&gt;
