I am working on developing a custom antenna for wireless communication.

I am using a blank nRF52832 chip on a custom board. Here are my 3 questions;

1. When I connect nRF52832 and my phone without attaching any antennas, it can communicate

RE: Does NRF52832 have internal antenna?

Hi,

There is no built in antenna in any of our SoCs, including the nRF52832.

It is possible that the RF emission from a trace without a antenna can be good enough for the phone to be able to receive the signal at a short range. But it won't be possible to establish a connection due to a poor receive strength of the trace.

Best regards,
