&lt;p&gt;That seems like a combination CFUN=1 followed by CFUN=40 after some time isn&amp;#39;t that useful (I&amp;#39;ve seen that in this forum)?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;41 – Activates UICC&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;40 – Deactivates UICC.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;These are&amp;nbsp;often used in conjuntion with &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/ref_at_commands/REF/at_commands/access_uicc/access_uicc.html"&gt;UICC access commands&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
