&lt;p&gt;Thanks a lot for this comprehensive tutorial, I confirm that the button (and LEDs too) can be a huge waste of time.
BTW this topic seems to be in fashion, I just came across another helpful post (&lt;a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://thingtype.com/blog/dfu-ota-updating-an-nrf52-application-over-the-air/)"&gt;thingtype.com/.../)&lt;/a&gt;, albeit on simpler use cases.
