Hi,

is it possible to enable SMP (simple management protocol) with BLE mesh, both are using GATT services. I want to enable these functionalities but not having any idea how I can achieve it.

How to unprovision node using nRF Connect?
Once node has been provisioned (by nRF Connect) I can't reset this node to see unprovisioned beacon.
nRF Connect continue to see it as Mesh Proxy with network ID 0x00.
Even after re-flashing with changed Light Switch example App.

Hi all, on the new release 2.2.0 of the Mesh SDK I got the Generic_on_off model already, and I was able to use the app (tested both android and iOS) to provision,configure Light switch client and Light switch server,and I can use the Light switch client to control the Light switch server, I want to app(android or iOS) to control the Light switch server, but the app(android or iOS) has no contorl function aplication,how I can get the app(android and iOS) with control
aplication?

Hi there!

Has anyone being able to use this provisioning on the nRF52 dev boards??? the first steps of the provisioning goes well enough, everything gets addresses, keys and so on and its looking good, but then after setting publishing / subscribing configurations, the button on client / control dont control the LED on the server / light board...

Strangely enough, the buttons on the server board does light up the LEDs on the same server board... Am I missing something?

"The device must advertise with the Mesh Provisioning Service UUID, nRF Mesh will scan for advertisements with this UUID. After connection, the Mesh Provisioning Service is used to do the provisioning." Does this means that it's possible to connect a mobile to the mesh if it's advertising with the Mesh Provisioning Service UUID?

Thanks for this. But i would like to know a bit more. I am working with light-switch example and nRF mesh android app. nRF mesh can detects the the clients and i can provision them through android app. But i do not sure what kind of authentication used since it did not ask me to select authentication types. I wonder static authentication is used, but again i changed the static authentication key in the client and still it worked. In summary i would like to try different authentication method supported, could you please tell me where to make changes ?

Hello: What firmware was used on the Thingy dev boards shown in the demonstration video? I see some precompiled examples in the github repositories but would like to build from source with Segger Embedded Studio. I currently have MeshSDK 2.1.1 installed. I can see examples\light_switch in the SDK has a proxy_client & proxy_server. Are these the same projects used in the video?

I use the Android app to connect the proxy server(example in SDK mesh2.0.1)

when I open the element option I can't find the SimpleOnOff MODEL and replace it is the vendor model which is a invalid model,so, I can't add the appkey to the vendor model.

the app is build with the GitHub source code.

Hi,

I just modified the BLE Mesh SDK Proxy Light Server to handle also the Generic Level Model Server.

My problem is that the nRF Mesh APP for iOS does not support the Generic Level Model to tets my example.

Can you help?

Can you send me some code snippets to add the missing models?
