In android version of the app I can filter on raw data in advertised service. I cannot seem to do so on the IOS version.

How do I save the incoming and outgoing packet logs to file and or Email / iCloud? Logs->Export->Share button doesn't seem to work any of these options.

Hi, Nordics:

I had my brother's old i-phone 5 with OS version 10.3.1. Original i use previous build (traditional UX and splash screen as Android).

It supported to read the char value and show it.

Recently, nRF connect automatic update to this build, but I can not see the char value or notification value anymore.

The icons of down-arrow (READ) and triple-down (Enable Notification) will active but there is without any value to pop-up.

Even I try to read the STD SIG service value such as SW Revision (UUID 2A28), it is same. No value is got to read and show. While I long press the down-arrow, the icon will become to gray.

Originally, the nRF connect is a wonderful App (Thank you) for me, and it let our customer / vendor to dev and verify the product, even HW or Apps.

Now, it can not help me anymore because I can not be interactive with my BLE product by characteristic READ-Notification anymore.

p.s. no logs is also hurt me...let me confuse what the problem is.

If you keeps logs, I can see the READ success and with value.

Thus, the problem may be due by the small display area -> to buy a new phone, impossible.

Hope you can help me to overcome this situation.

A couple of more questions after having tested the app:

1) I really like the RSSI window when connecting that also shows how often advertising data is received.

1) I find the list of all services&characteristics confusing. There is very little "contrast" between what is services and what is characteristics

2) Secure DFU update. You have totally changed the way we enter this (it seems). By swiping to the right 3 times I can somehow select file to upload. However, the app does not make the board go into DFU mode. This worked with earlier versions of nRF connect.

Nice work. Will the app start supporting user_definitions.json files? So that custom services gets interpreted?

What I really meant was a way to sort them from highest RSSI to lowest in the list in addition to the RSSI filter value. That way I can easily find the devices closest to me without having to scroll through a long list if there are many devices around.

There absolutely is!

So, go to the Scanner, and at the top, just below the Navigation Bar, you should be able to read the text "No Filter". Tap it, and the filtering menu emerges (which also works on the RSSI Graph tab), and there you can set a value for the RSSI filter.
Keep in mind that this filter is "live", so it'll add and remove devices that meet said filter.

It would be nice if there was a way to sort the list of devices by RSSI (unless I missed it and there’s currently a way to do that!).
