I&amp;#39;m trying to run the code based on SDK 2.9.0, but so much has changed since nRF Connect SDK v1.8.0 that I haven&amp;#39;t been able to get it working with the new version. Would it be possible to update your examples for SDK 2.9.0? I think this would help a lot of others as well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="" data-start="399" data-end="676"&gt;I&amp;#39;m hoping that with a new sample I can better understand the code and use it in my own implementation with the latest SDK. So much has changed in how the nRF21540 is controlled, especially regarding setting the power, that I can&amp;rsquo;t figure it out with Nordic&amp;rsquo;s current examples.&lt;/p&gt;

I used the&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/samples/bluetooth/peripheral_uart/README.html"&gt;Peripheral UART Sample&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;which I modified to remove the UART portion but left the NUS portion intact. I did the same with the&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/samples/bluetooth/central_uart/README.html"&gt;Central UART Sample&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;and again removed the UART portion but left the NUS portion. I flashed two different Thingy:53 boards, one with the central and one with the peripheral code. I had the code setup to turn on LED2 (Green LED) when the connected and turn off on disconnect.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;They connect and automatically reconnect as intended. I was only able to get around 80-100m outside direct line of sight before the connection wouldn&amp;#39;t reliably reconnect, which is almost 10x less than what your results showed even with just the nRF52840DK.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any ideas what might cause this large difference in range results?
