I think it would be good to have it separated into individual paths for google home, Samsung and Apple.
Thanks for the helpful article. Could you provide another example of sharing an already Apple Home commissioned thread device to a chip-tool fabric? I'm trying to use the setup code displayed by the home app via chip-tool so:

[embed:dc8ab71f-3b98-42d9-b0f6-e21e02a0f8e2:03560009-1638-44ff-8819-5c1b7e8ff22a:type=text&text=.%2Fchip-tool%20pairing%20code%20%5Bsetup%20code%5D%201%20--commissioner-name%20beta]

But I can't get it to work, the chip-tool doesn't recognize the DK with the light bulb example. I'm trying to get this working so that we can use chip-tool to test custom clusters that aren't otherwise available through HomeKit.

RE: Matter: Testing the nRF Connect platform with Apple, Google and Samsung ecosystems

Hi Kamil, thanks for the extensive guide.

From a pure Thread network perspective, is it possible to have my Google Nest Hub 2.Gen join my existing Thread network, lead by a HomePod mini?
I haven't seen any UI from Google so far, but maybe I am missing something.

If I just turn on my Google Nest hub and set it up using an Android phone, I believe I create a second, parallel Thread network?

(I do have Matter over Thread devices + older HomeKit over Thread devices running.)

Cheers!

RE: Matter: Testing the nRF Connect platform with Apple, Google and Samsung ecosystems

hi, i am using Raspberry pi and nrf52840 dongle for Border router so can i connect my phone with mattr light bulb(nrf52840) using smartThings app ?

RE: Matter: Testing the nRF Connect platform with Apple, Google and Samsung ecosystems

Hi
How can you test the device according to PICS?
For example we want to test that RequirePINforRemoteOperation attribute value is false.

RE: Matter: Testing the nRF Connect platform with Apple, Google and Samsung ecosystems

Hi
