However you could send heartbeat messages and see the hops but this would not be equal to a message , wouldn&amp;#39;t it?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Another question: Why did you chose these TTL values? I am struggling on the definition of TTL. To my knowledge the TTL value decreases everytime the mesage gets relayed. But in such a big network TTL of 5 would be sufficient?
