Can't bond on nrfconnect

Hi,

I flashed an board with a NRF52832-QFAA-R7 with the ble_app_hids_mouse of SDK 12.1 (and also with the keyboard) example to test and build an application using this example as base.

I used the app nrfconnect to test, on smartphone with Android version 4.4 it worked fine. The other two I tried with Android version 6.0 I could connect but the nrfconnect indicates that it's "bonding..." and never changes so I can't read the characteristics.

I tried to set sec_param.bond to 0, to disable the boding but when I do that I can't see the device on my scan list anymore.

The same happened for the SDKs 12 and 11 examples.

What's happening? Is it some issue with the nrfconnect for Android 6? How can I disable the bonding?

Seems to be working fine here. Does this happen if you delete bond information on the nRF52 and the smart phone? You bond by clicking the vertial ... and "Bond"?

Hi Petter, thank you for answering. I managed to read the characteristics by pairing it on Android configurations. But nrfconnect still doesn't accept to bond, I don't know why. I also tried to do as you said to delete the bond information on the nRF52 but on smartphone but doesn't appear on bond list. I couldn't disable bond yet, but I'm trying. Thank you.

What if you delete the bond in Android Bluetooth settings first?

It doesn't bond, that's why I can't do that... Well, I'll close the question for as I can read the characteristics even without bonding (at least as indicated on nrfconnect) it's ok. Thank you very much for your help.
