Problem in launching Profiler Kit (PCA63511) desktop application

Hi,

We are using PPK board (PCA63511), we have followed the "PPK user guide" and installed all the necessary softwares, We have made the connections and switches option selection in the board as specified in the user guide.

But when we launch the Profiler Kit desktop application using the command prompt (as specified in chapter 7 of PPK user guide), we are getting an error as mentioned below:

" Unable to connect to the PPK, check debugger connection and make sure pynrfjprog is up to date."

Are you using the power profiler kit with a nRF5x DK? If so, did you connect the USB cable to the DK and not to the PPK?

Hi jorgen,

Yes i'm using nRF5x DK, and the USB cable is connected to nRF5x DK only, not for PPK.

Have you tried the steps suggested in the troubleshooting chapter?

Yes, I tried, but I'm still facing the same error "Unable to connect to the PPK, check debugger connection and make sure pynrfjprog is up to date."

Can you confirm that all switches are placed in the correct position as described in chapter 3.3, and also try to reinstall the software dependencies by running python_packages.bat. If this does not help, can you try with another computer?
