S140 is Bluetooth 5 ready and will support both the long range and high throughput features in Bluetooth 5. It will only be compatible with the new nRF52840.
But, a new version of S132 will be released, giving the nRF52832 support for Bluetooth 5 high throughput(2Mbps).
