How to change the Major and Minor of beacon from the app?

Currently i am creating the ibeacon app for nRF52. App is able to display UUID, Major and Minor number of surrounding beacons. But is there any way to change the major and minor number from the app...? Well i can update by using DFU, but everytime i should build and use nrfutil make a zip then update the firmware. Please suggest me, it's ok if it not perfect. I am just learning many things from nRF52 kit.

Hi,

To be able to change the major and minor values, you need to change your application to allow connections to the device. You can take a look at the Eddystone Beacon Application in SDK 13.0.0 alpha, that will work with the nRF Beacon for Eddystone app for Android, or the firmware delivered with the nRF51 Beacon Kit, which will work together with the nRF Bacon app on iOS or Android.
