About Nordic recommendation to not use JLINK v6.12

Dear Nordic Support Team,

In a recent news received by email regarding a new version of "nRF5x Command line tools v9.2.1", it is written that Nordic does not recommend to use last version of JLINK 6.12.

For internal technical reasons, we use the JLINK version still in beta today 6.13a. More details about this in the SEGGER forum related thread.

So, could you explain and argue why it is not a good idea to use versions more recent than 5.12G of JLINK?

It tells you exactly why it's not recommended in the text of the link you yourself posted!

So that's why they don't recommend it. If you don't care about current consumption after debugging, use what you like.
