Hardware requirements for nRF Sniffer

I have a Nordic Semiconductor dongle:

PCA10000 V2.0.0 2013.04

Can this be used with the current version of nRF Sniffer (1.0.1_1111)?

Hi,

Yes, the PCA10000 dongle can be used with the nRF Sniffer(1.0.1_1111). Take a look at the nRF Sniffer User Guide for more information.

Hi Sigurd

I don't have any Development board in "Required hardware" of nRF Sniffer User Guide.

I only have single chip model(Raytac MDBT40,based on nrf51822).

Can I combine "nrf51822" with "USB to UART cable" instead of Sniffer hardware.
