I'm having alot of issues testing the PCA10031 running the MasterEmulator ProxmityDemo Example. It will open the port fine to the dongle, but always fails to Start Discovery. Sometimes it will work after a power cycle, but generally fails. I'm testing with Master Emulator Version 2.1.13.14 and the FW on the PCA10031 is actually the PCA10000 FW: MEFW_nrf51822_0.11.0_firmware_1M.hex.

I didn't seem to have this issue on an older version of the ME. Please help.

Hi, I just tested with the same hardware, verison of Master Emulator, and Firmware, with the Precompiled Proximity Example. It works perfectly here. Have you done any changes to the files? Have you tried running it on another computer?

I didn't have this issue on a Window 8 machine before. I've since upgrade to a new windows 10 machine and started seeing the issue. Once the device discovery starts failing, only unplugging and replugging in the dongle will recover it.

Can you upload the log file generated by Master Emulator, located in C:\ProgramData\Nordic Semiconductor\MasterEmulator\log.txt?
