Not able to connect nrf52 dk board with mobile app

Hi, I flashed softdevice and ble_app_UART_c code. But after searching bt device, i could not find bt nrf52 device in mobile. Do i need to something more..

The ble_app_UART_c means that is ble_central device. Central Device Connect to other BLE Device. So you should use ble_app_uart in ble_peripheral folder if you want the device send you uart data to cell phone form device.

Thanks. I tried ble_peripheral uart example and it is working fine. But my Board is not simply getting connect to mobile(without App). But if we connect through App then it is connecting. what is reason behind this? Or App shares some kind of data with BT device.?

The Central example dose not advertising so you app can not scan for any central device. Now your device is running peripheral example which has advertising function so your app can scan for your device. and If you could be more specific for your application. I think I can explain more to you.

I am using the ble_peripheral ble_app_uart example in SDK 13 , i downloaded the nRF tool box but, even though the LED1 blinking slowly (I guess every 2 secs), my cell phone scans but does not show the Nordic_UART name at all !! What am I doing wrong ?? I have an an Android 0 device.. that works with other peripheral BLE devices.

@cal717 (embedded717): Could you post this as a new question where you post the brand of smartphone, Android Os version, nRF Toolbox version etc. Also, try to disable and re-enable Bluetooth as your smartphone might have cached the device information so that it will display the device with the old name and services.
