Detect Nordic board type at runtime

Hi

I'd like to create a firmware that supports multiple Nordic boards as Hardware (as the nRFConnect Firmware does). To do that I have to configure the peripherals according to the layout of these boards.

How can the firmware detect what type of Nordic board (PCA10040, PCA10031,...) it is running?

Hi,

You can't really do that. For example in the SDK the board type is given during compile time as a define, like BOARD_PCA10040.

So, Cant I detect diferents boards?
I want detect nordic board and my own board. Depending of each boards I will use difents pins config.

Is it possible?
