How do I use the the softdevice as central?

Hi,

Need to talk between 2 devices using BLE, so for now I have a device with a service and advertising, but now I need the other one to work as central and connect to the first.

Is this possible? Is there an example I could use as base for this?

Hi there,

Please have a look at the S120 SoftDevice, which can act as a central device with up to 8 concurrent links. You can download it from the DOWNLOADS tab here. Make sure to also check out the SoftDevice specification you can find on the same webpage.

There is a BLE Heart Rate Collector Example in the "Experimental" directory in nRF SDK 5.2.0, see this link.
