current consumption of nRF52832

Hi, I am testing the current comsumption of nRF52832 using the original code of "nRF5_SDK_13.0.0_04a0bfd\examples\ble_peripheral\ble_app_beacon ". The peak TX current I measured was about 12.5mA. It doesn't match the results in devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../ What is the problem?

How to set the TX_POWER to 0dBm and set the BLE to low power mode? Would you please tell me how to modify the code in ble_app_beacon?

Hi,

The nRF52 Online Power Profiler measurements are done with DCDC mode enabled. For custom boards you will need to have DC/DC components in order to enable DCDC mode. The nRF5x-DK supports DCDC mode.

You can enable DCDC mode with the function sd_power_dcdc_mode_set(). Call the function any time after you have enabled the BLE stack.
