DTM reports 0% PER even if antenna is removed

Hi

While using 2 nRF51422 dev boards and using the DTM software together with the DTM python example script the python program reports 0% PER even if I cut the antenna on one of the devices.

Shouldn't I get 100% PER or am I misunderstanding something ?

DTM packets should be visible on come radio analyzers/sniffers (like Frontline) so you could check what is really happening in the air. I was achieving non-zero PER rather by shielding (put DUT into metal box or bring it far away or set Tx Power to -40dBm if you support this through vendor-specific DTM commands (Nordic seems to fixed this in their DTM example FW in recent SDKs).
