nrf51822 + Arduino Mini

Hi,

I am a newbie and would like to build a solution that combines nrf51822 with Arduino. Is this possible.

I find that there are many nrf5001 + Arduino solutions, but I would want to use nrf51822 which is a multiple protocol solution than a peripheral mode only chip like nrf5001.

Is it possible and if this has already been done are there any pointers that you guys can help?

I do not want to go via the rfduino route, but want to build my own solution.

i am working on porting RFDuino code to Nordic SDK supporting plain nRF51 chips: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../

I have cleaned up startup code and system library and replaced this by an build script including all files from SDK. At the moment my code is not running. I don't know why.

My Plan is bring basic functionality to Arduino without SDK dependencies.
