Why am I uploaded an application through UART, but the application does not run when the device is reset.

I debug the DFU Bootloader through UART,I am sure the APP code is complete updated,but the application does not run when the device is after bootloader to auto soft reset,but,the power on reset or pin reset the application can be run OK. exception I cancel the 'interrupts_disable();',the application is after bootloader to auto soft reset run OK,why?TKS!

Just to clarify: The bootloader reaches bootloader_app_start(), but does not jump to the application unless you power-cycle the device or perform a pinreset. However, if you comment out interrupts_disable() in bootloader_app_start(), then the bootloader will successfully start the application without having to power-cycle or perform a pin-reset?
