Will the Bluetooth low energy advertising tutorial run on 2 x nRF52 DK's and not on 1 x nRF52 DK and 1 x nRF51 Dongle? I wish to test the capabilities of BLE 5.0 (not be limited by the BLE 4.x of the nRF51 Dongle).
Thank you

Sure they will, why shouldn't? To be sure which exact "examples" you mean? Can you identify nRF5 SDK release and path to the project or some GitHub reference?
Hello endnode, see devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../
I believe that already nRF5 SDK v11 support multiple target boards (PCA10028/10031/10040) so you can use them on all. If you use nRF52 DK boards only then you should be able to use examples from the latest SDK V14 (in case there was any fix or improvement since 2015). Anyway you should be able to follow the steps even you use alternative dev kits and in case of any problems just submit new question with as precise description as possible.
Hi,
The advertising tutorial is a bit outdated. The nRF51 dongle in the tutorial is just mainly used to scan peripherals with Master Control Panel (MCP). MCP is now deprecated, and has been replaced with nRF Connect for desktop, where you can use your 2nd nRF52-DK to scan instead of the dongle. In fact you can also just use your smartphone running nRF-Connect for smartphone instead of the 2nd nRF52-DK.
Thanks again. There was some mention somewhere that some of the tutorials / SDK example code doesn't run on nRF52 DK but does on nRF51 Dongle, hence my concern. I will take a chance on 2 x nRF52 DK's (as I want to use BLE 5.0).
