I have a app that stores some calibration information in flash (1 page at 0x7F000) When I booted now I noticed it has replaced it with "DEADCODE" following some hex number, what is this?

Hi,
it's a magic word used by the fds library to tag the flash pages it uses.

It is a bit inconvinient since it has replaced my calibration values, how do I do this right?
Well, I am guessing your project uses the Peer Manager, which in turn uses fds to store data in the last three flash pages (0x7D000, 0x7E000, 0x7F000). Write to addresses below 7xD000 and you should be fine.
