nRF51 DFU for BLE_central example

Is there any example code is available which supports DFU in central mode for nRF51 devices?

Hi Rajneesh,

Could you tell what exactly you want to do ? How you want to do DFU ? Do you have a central device and you want to use the phone to update firmware for it ?

If it is, you can simply use the normal bootloader, when switching to the bootloader, the central device will switch mode to peripheral and the phone can connect to it and do DFU normally.

Yes, I want a central device and update the firmware via phone. Is there any sample example is available for nRF51 central?

Have you read what I described above ? The only thing you need to do is to switch from application to bootloader, very similar on what we do in the peripheral buttonless example to switch from peripheral to bootloader.

We don't have an example but it is a very small mod that you can do. You need to define your own protocol (command) to switch from central to bootloader. A notification from the peripheral for example.
