Thread border router PI image

Hi,

I am trying to establish a border router in my test Thread system (a part of infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp. I have the required Raspberry Pi 3B, but it is driving me cracy that I cannot flash the SD card with "RaspPi_Thread_Border_Router_Demo_v0.10.0-1.alpha". This very small image simply doesn't work. I flashed a million SD-cards (perhaps not, but a lot). And I have never worked with an image "that didn't work", so it didn't cross my mind at first. But after 8 tries with three different flasher I tried another image (www.raspberrypi.org/.../) to rule out hardware issues (e.g. broken SD-card), but then it worked just fine. Is there something missing in the guide or did I simply totally misunderstood something?

Hi dichaelen,

Maybe this is a silly question, but it is worth a shot ;). Have you unpacked the zip archive first?

You should see something like that:

The correct image file has .img extension and size over 550MB.

:-) Yes it was unpacked. But only showing a size of 91.136KB with the *.img extension yes :-) But I have tried to download it again. And unpack it AGAIN, and know it is 552.960KB.. WTF

Perhaps you could supply a MD5 checksum on the page to verify the package, if it is a challenge?!
