when merge all hex one file. How to make it default not jump DFU mode?

Hi Community,

For community's help I success to create 12.3.0 DFU version get work.

So now I try to make all hex(softdevice, bootloader, application) to one hex file. Use merge.exe to do this. It's working perfectly.

But flash to the board it default jump to DFU mode not the application.

How could I change to make it jump to application?

And also a little thing bother in me. If in DFU mode on I could happy to press NRF Connect with it DFU button and select my package zip to update.

But if I'm in application press DFU button then select package zip and it will jump to dfu mode and hang in there. I need to disconnect and reconnect device(this time it already DFU mode) then press DFU button select zip again then it will go for update.

Is it possible let me just press once DFU button and make it start update?

rebuild bootloader settings match my current application solved the problem. Jumpping DFU problem. I see it need match the bootloader settings if not it will jump to DFU mode.

hi, i follow this blog too and success merge. But when i press DFU, it stuck on connecting.

@nguyen-huy: Please create a new ticket and provide information about which SDK version your are using, the files that you merged, which firmware that is running on the nRF5x device you are trying to connect to etc.
