DFU update from SDK 11 to newest versions

Hello,

I'm using nrf52 with SDK 11 and softdevice s132 v2.0.0. We are close to release our product for testing and I need to add DFU on it. The non secure bootloader is acceptable right now but in the future we'll want to use the secure one with the latest SDK and softdevice versions. What should I do now (SDK 11, sd 2.0) to make sure all modules will be upgradable to the newest secure bootloader + SDK + softdevice?

Just reserving extra flash memory as described in this thread is enough? devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../

• I understand that the best way would be upgrade everything now but I cant do that because of our schedule.

Yes, just make sure that you reserve enough space for the SDK v11.0.0 bootloader so that the Secure Bootloader from SDK v14.1.0 fit in the same region.
