connecting DCC and DEC4 on nrf52832 for remote programming

I want to use the nrf52dk PCA10040 to remote program a BC832 chip from Fastel.

They say: "BC832 V1 pin B3 C3 (DCC, DEC4) needs to be connected to the program can be burned"

I don't understand why this wire would be necessary.

I see DCC and DEC4 connected with an inductor for DC/DC operation. I am not interested in this.

Is there a problem connecting these pins with a wire during programming and operation?

thanks,

Richard
