Covering multiple products under one declaration ID

Hello,

As I understand it, bluetooth declaration IDs can be used for multiple products as long as the products all share the same QDID. In other words, If you do it right, you can shell out to bluetooth sig once and then continue to use that declaration ID for other products going forward.

I understand that these are the QDIDs that are intended for use with the various nrf52 softdevices. However, I have also seen posts like this one that suggest that these QDIDs are actually representing a collection of sub-components.

Here are my actual questions:

  1. If we pay for a declaration ID using the QDID for version 2.0.0 of the s132 softdevice, would we be allowed to use updated versions of the s132 softdevice in the future without paying for a new declaration ID? Do the QDIDs cover the same sub-components?

  2. How can we see what sub-components a QDID covers?

  3. I understand that this is probably a stretch, but do y'all think that there is any way that it would be possible to declare products using the nrf8001 and the nrf52 under the same declaration ID?

thanks!
