How to enable notifications on a characteristic with nRF Connect iOS app?

Hello,

I don't know how to enable the notifications for a characteristic in the nRF Connect app for iOS. I have the latest version and I tried all the buttons but none of them seem to enable them.

I can enable the notifications with the LightBlue app by pressing the "Listen for notifications" button, but with the nRF Connect app I just can't. So I know for a fact that it's not that my firmware is not listening.

This is what I have in the app:

None of those arrow buttons enable the notifications/indications for that characteristic. It's the NRF Secure DFU Service by the way. I need to enable the indications in order to write 1 to that characteristic and go into bootloader mode. The only way I'm able to do that now is with the LightBlue app and I'm tired of switching apps just to go into bootloader mode. Please help!

The images you posted are not visible, can you check this out ? i think the issue might be due to the iOS cache but i'm not 100% certain, let me know when you update the images and if you can show us all the characteristics/services that are visible to nRF Connect, and which button you press to enable notifiations

I just checked on my phone and I can see the images, but I checked on a colleague's PC and he couldn't see them too. It's my first time posting images to this forum, how am I supposed to fix them? Thanks for your help!

Seems like the images are not showing due to another error, causing only the alt-text to show, i got them locally, but seems like it only shows one characteristic, can you re upload full screenshots?

to clean up the faulty images, simply edit this question, then delete the current image references, and then click Ctrl+G to upload new images, when you do so an image tag will automatically be added to the question, do not modify that and things should be ok

I updated the images, but I'm not sure if the problem was solved, it was the same process as the first time I uploaded them.

I just checked on my phone and they're showing just fine.
