I am working on nRF52-DK, nRF52832 PCA10040, and i want to know on how i can wake up my device from sleep mode using hardware interrupt. I am using interrupt from a PIR sensor.

If by HW interrupt you mean logical signal on GPIO line then yes, this is supported on all nRF5x chips.

If you put "wake up" or similar phrase into search window on this forum you will get tons of answers. Here is one example answer which seems to be reasonably written to me. Note that I just assume you speak about POWER OFF sleep. If not then we have nothing to talk about because the only second choice of "sleep" on nRF5x chips is POWER ON SLEEP where all interrupt handlers are available so you just need to manage your events as if the chip would be running all the time ("sleep" doesn't make any difference to your code - at least not to the code which is written reasonably).
