sdk_config wizard in SEGGER SES

Hey!

I'm migrating from Keil to Segger SES, is there any way to get a similar checkbox interface for sdk_config.h in SES like the configuration wizard in Keil?

Hi Jónas!

You can install the CMSIS Configuration wizard.
In the newest SDK's (from v14.1.0) CMSIS is already added to the SDK, and you only have do to some simple modifications in SEGGER Embedder Studio.
The modifications needed in SES is described here. We also have a youtube-tutorial covering this.

Thanks for the answer, it worked perfectly for the examples in the SDK, however when working on a custom project in another directory I had to make a small change to the project settings. For any other people that might have the same problem you have to change the path for the project macros in the build settings to the path of the CMSIS .jar file.

In the project options, under the Code and Build, there is an option for Project Macros, which you'll have to change for your Common configuration to the path of the .jar

In my case that meant putting in:

CMSIS_CONFIG_TOOL=C:/Nordic_Semi/nRF5_SDK_14.2.0_17b948a/external_tools/cmsisconfig/CMSIS_Configuration_Wizard.jar
