nRF52832 Advertising Energy Profile

This is the Energy Profile that is shown for the nRF82832 and I am wondering about the RX/ switch parts. I assume these RX phases are for receiving scan requests? What happens if I set advertising mode to ADV_DIRECT_IND or ADV_NONCONN_IND - will this RX phase still be present?

Hi Paul

The RX windows are for receiving scan requests or connection requrests, yes.

When using the ADV_NONCONN_IND advertising type the packets are neither scannable nor connectable, and the RX windows will be removed.

The start part would still remain, but the switch part would go away.
