nRF DK 52 different versions?

Hi,

I recently ordered the nRF DK 52 from Mouser Electronics (only one version available on their website). Furthermore, they were not able to provide me with the chip revision number so I ordered the DK anyway, assuming it would have the newest chip version on it.

The DK that arrived has a PCA10040, rev. 1.2.1, 2017.38. However, the nRF52832 chip on the board has revision version QFAAB0. From what I can tell from the revision pages on the nordic website, this is by far not the newest version of the chip.

Are there nRF 52 DK boards available with newer chip variants? If so where could I get them?

The only information you can get is compatibility matrix linking nRF5x DK board revision (schematics/layout/BOM snapshot) and nRF5x chip revision. Now until the build code fits one revision you shouldn't be affected by any change...

Hi,

With the packet variant QFAAB0, you have according to the compatibility matrix here nRF52832 IC revision 1. This is the latest version of the nRF52832 chip.

Thanks a lot, I saw the compatibility matrix before, but was confused by the last zero in B00, assuming this would have to be the last 3 digits.
