NRF52840 production dates?

Is this chip for sale yet? I see dev. kits, but still 28 week lead time everywhere. We were talking about adding it to a product, but the owner is shooting me down because of this.

Unfortunately this chip is not in production yet, but it will be very soon. If you contact your regional nordic sales manager he should be able to provide a timeline for when this will be i available in volumes. And, if available, you might be able to get engineering samples so you can start developing with this.

OK, that is a better answer. Distributors keep telling me 'I don't know'. We have samples and dev kits, but the owner won't let me put this in our upcoming product without a timeline and estimated availability for the year.

hi, i am also facing the same problem. contacted all the online distributors mentioned in nordic page. but everybody is initiated more than 23 weeks. but they dont know the exact date of availability
