nRF51 DK + PIR sensor

I am new to this great platform and am struggling with getting my PIR sensor connected to my DK. I wonder if some of you experts could give me some pointers on how to go about this. Or maybe point me to an already existing program.

Hey guys thanks for the replies. I am using a HC-SR501 pir, with vcc, out and gnd wires. It has 2 adjustment screws for sensitivity and delay. 5v. The pir just sends a pulse when it detect movement. It is inexpensive $4.

I have this working with a hardware interrupt on my netduino 2 plus board, so I am wondering what pins to use for the interrupt and anything else you can tell me about hooking this up.

Well it's impossible to say anything much without knowing what kind of PIR sensor you have. Is it a simple one which delivers a pulse when it detects movement, a more complicated one with some kind of analogue out or an I2C interface or .. what? What voltage does it use? What have you tried?

We need some more info here. Can you give us the name of the PIR sensor? And, how you are trying to connect it?

I wrote an answer in a post about interrupts here: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../

This will generate an interrupt on the falling edge of button 0. You can change BSP_BUTTON_0 to any available GPIO. You can then change GPIOTE_IRQHandler() to do what ever you want.

You can read about the GPIOTE module in the nRF51 Series Reference Manual section 14.
