Help me to choose nRF platform that best suits to my needs

Hello there,

I'm in doubt which of your various products to choose and integrate into my system. Let me give you some details about it:

  1. The system is battery powered (3V CR2032 coin cell battery) and should be able to run with one battery for a months/years.

  2. The system contains ATMEGA328P low power processor (Arduino compatible) and some proximity sensor. ATMEGA328P is in the sleep mode and the power line that supplies the proximity sensor is cut-off using power gating transistor. So the systems consumes almost no power.

  3. Once in 24 hours ATMEGA328P processor wakes up from the sleep mode, waking up the proximity sensor as well. After that, it measures the distance from the nearby object. If measured distance is below some pre-defined threshold level, a notification should be sent to the mobile phone app (Android/iOS) using some of your BLE modules.

  4. Person using the phone app should confirm that the notification message is received by sending back some confirmation message (acknowledge). The distance between the sensor node (ATMEGA + proximity sensor + BLE) and the phone with the app can be in the middle range (10m, 20m, 30m or something similar).

Now, I don't want to buy a Ferrari and drive it in a first gear, I want to pick up some of your nRF BLE modules that best suits my particular demands. Can you, please, give me your support ? Which nRF module to choose and which connection strategy to apply? Pay attention on the low power consumption requirements.

Thank you very much for your time and effort.

Sincerely, Bojan.
