Apple MFi (Made for iPhone/iPAD/iPOD) - Is NUS a Standard Bluetooth profile?

Hi, I'm making a product with the nRF51822 chip.

I was looking at the MFi.

As you see in the picture, the condition for not taking the MFi is like this.

MFi

At the App store, the nRF UART App's discription says :

"nRF UART can be used to connect to Bluetooth low energy (Bluetooth SMART) devices

running a custom Nordic Semiconductor UART service.

When connected, the app can send and receive ASCII text strings."

I wanted to ask,

I use the NUS in my project. I need to join the MFi program, right?
